简曙光,博士,男,研究员,博士生导师。1997年6月和2003年6月,分别获得中山大学硕士和博士学位;2008年晋升为研究员。2005-2006年的在美国佛罗里达大学进行博士后研究工作,2009年在美国哈佛大学和佛罗里达大学进行合作研究工作。现任中国野生植物保护协会苏铁保育委员会副主任、中国植物学会苏铁分会常务理事, Scientific reports、Aquatic Botany、Annals of Botany、Botanical Journal of the Linnean Society、Electronic Journal of Biotechnology、生态学报、植物生态学报、应用生态学报等期刊审稿专家。近年来主要从事植被生态学、恢复生态学、分子生态学和珍稀濒危植物保护生物学等方面研究工作。主持过中国科学院A类战略先导科技专项(课题)、国家重点研发计划项目(课题)、国家自然科学基金面上项目、广东省自然科学基金项目、广东省科技计划项目等科研课题20多项。在国内外学术刊物上发表论文70多篇,其中SCI收录30篇(第一作者或通讯作者SCI收录13篇,IFmax=14.387);申请专利6项,已授权3项。培养研究生10多人。曾获广东省科学技术一等奖(2次,分别排名第2和第11)、广东省环境保护科学技术一等奖(排名第2、教育部科技进步一等奖、国家环境保护科学技术二等奖等奖励多项。
